Welcome to the ACADEMUS EDITION website!

This website contains information about Academus Edition publications that have been released or prepared by the Department of Music History of the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences (from the seventh volume, the edition was taken over by the Artefactum publishing house of the Institute of Art History, Czech Academy of Sciences). If offers basic information about specific titles and authors, and other supplementary materials are made available for perusal. In the case of musical editions, the website presents audio samples or other samples of works in the edition, and when appropriate, it also enables the free downloading of performance materials in A4 format.

This website has been created within the framework of the Digital Humanities subprogramme of Memory in the Digital Age, a project announced by the Czech Academy of Sciences (Strategy AV 21).
